About Us
The Faculty of Agriculture, which teaches the latest agricultural technologies, was established in 1982 and began to admit students in 1983. Currently, the faculty admits students to the eight departments: Horticulture, Plant Protection, Biosystem Engineering, Field Crops, Agricultural Economics, Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, Aquaculture Engineering and Animal Science Department.
Currently the faculty has 972 students, including 687 at the undergraduate level, 231 at the graduate level and 69 at the doctorate level. So far, 6597 students at the undergraduate level and 790 students at the graduate level have graduated from the faculty.
The faculty has a total of 85 academic staff, 35 Professors, 10 Associate Professors, 25 Doctor lecturers, 12 Research Assistants, and 3 Instructors. As a result of the devoted study of our academic staff in agricultural application areas and application laboratories; EU, SPO, TUBITAK, and SANTEZ projects have been completed and some of them are still in progress. In addition to these projects carried out in our faculty, there are also studies on product registration and patent.
